The Musketeers –
In Order to his Majesty

 

Everybody knows the adventures of “The Three Musketeers”. Since our early years the novel „The Three Musketeers“ belonged to the core literature of Mike & Mike. Everything connected with Musketeers, was of high interest to us – fencing, fighting, romantic love and of course the unique charm of the Musketeers. Without doubt our most favourite costume during carnival meant to be a Musketeer! So we started our first fencing-choreography as Musketeers. Under guidance of our fencing-master we learnt stage-fencing for a theatre-play in school, dressed ourselves as Musketeers and brought a big fight onto the stage, just built for the two Musketeer-adepts.

The wish to become a Musketeer ourselves never left our hearts. So every Musketeer-fan will understand that we made the Musketeers the heroes of our first juggling-show. We learnt the habit of the Musketeers, tried out the charms of the Musketeers, trained wild Musketeer-fencing-choreographies and finally we created an entire theatre-play about the lives of our two Musketeers Aragon and Fantoche. But the two Musketeers wanted more! It wasn’t enough for them to live in single Musketeer theatre-play!

To gain more Musketeer-glory we let the two Musketeers roam into freedom. First it was a Musketeer-Walk-Act on high unicycles then it became a Musketeer-Street-Performance, staged on Buskers-Festivals all over the world. Meanwhile the two Musketeers have performed on uncounted stages, in variety-theatres, at gala-shows, business-events or even as Musketeer-MCs. And still the excitement of the spectators about the Musketeers is growing.

In this reflect our Musketeers keep on moving: they court with other Musketeers for beautiful ladies, drink barrels of red-wine like all the Musketeers do or risk their lives as Musketeers in order to his majesty. So they do even more in our most recent production, the walk-act: “Musketeers XXL”. Within this performance they walk around as two Musketeers on stilts, larger than life in every way, with the guarantee for brilliant Musketeer-entertainment combined with artistic abilities, comedy and juggling. Always faithful to the motto of the Musketeers: One for All and All for One! Musketeers Allez!
