To Honour the Middle Ages…

 

The Middle Ages – the time of the knights, witches and buskers. Uncounted myths arose in the Middle Ages and continue until the present day. Speaking of the Middle Ages we talk about the centuries between 500 and 1500 a.c. The temporal period known as the Middle Ages describes the time between antiquity and modern times and so it burrows an amazing variety of fascinating habits, legends and tradition. All the people, who are so enthusiastic about the Middle Ages, draw their inspiration from a bottomless pool of ideas and using this, they bring the Middle Ages back to the present time.

According to this fact there are plenty knight-tournaments, medieval markets and banquets, which enliven the Middle Ages over and over again. The visitors of such medieval-events let themselves willingly drift back into the wild atmosphere of the Middle Ages. So do we and try to bless the people with our entertainment à la Middle Ages. We are not saying that our lives are oriented at the example of the Middle Ages – we do not live in castles and besides, we like body hygiene to much – but anyway we enjoy all our excurses back to the dark ages..

On the other hand our life as modern jugglers resembles very much to the life of the vagabonding performers in the Middle Ages. Always on the road and every day in new towns filled with people, who are enormously greedy for medieval entertainment. We dress in medieval cloths, adapt the language of the Middle Ages and behave as bad as it suits for two lazybones coming right out of the Middle Ages.

Nowhere else one can enjoy his dark sides so fulfilling as on the nostalgic medieval events.
