Juggling

 

Juggling – a joyful game with gravity? Or better: Juggling – the ever-lasting fight against gravity? This is the endless conflict inside the art of juggling, which always motivated us to learn new juggling tricks. The possibilities of juggling are beyond all borders. And there are not only the common juggling props which matter. One can use every single thing in his art of juggling which is movable by a human’s hand. To this fact we dedicate a high amount of our attention during the development of new juggling acts. Juggling with knives, juggling with domestic appliances, juggling with tools, even juggling a mannequin is part of the juggling world of Opus Furore. So it is just a matter of fact that this spirit is always present in all of our shows – take whatever you like: walking-act, street-show or gala-act.

Since the very beginning of the art of juggling there was the try to combine juggling tricks with other artistic disciplines in order to make things more challenging for us and even more fascinating to the spectator. That’s why we always aspire to present our juggling tricks in this manner. As you like it: juggling on a common unicycle, juggling on a three meter high unicycle or juggling while balancing upon a multi-storey rola-bola.

But still there are multiple ways of making your juggling more interesting. Probably the most common variety of juggling is fire-juggling. But with increasing technical progress also the possibilities of juggling increase impressively. The development of steadily improving light-juggling-props showed us the way to one of our most extraordinary juggling acts: the light-juggling-act “Flashlight”. By this and our mannequin-juggling-show “Eva’s Paradise” we extended the concept of entertainment by combining comedy, juggling and artistic skills in a totally different - certainly new - way.

As long as we are able to move our limbs successfully in the battle between juggling and gravity, we will continue the quest for new forms and combinations of juggling with all the wonders of the entire world…
